Nothing is as good as marrying wine and chocolate. If you have the right wine to complement the right chocolate, ‘wine and chocolate’ can be a match made in heaven. This is true whether you are pairing a delicate white chocolate, or a lively dark chocolate with wine.
For the 2nd time, Mr. Chocolate, Chef Jacques Torres and I had paired specially chosen wines and chocolate for the biggest tasting of the year; WINE & CHOCOLATE TASTING Event, which took place at AYZA WEST VILLAGE on FEBRUARY 9, 2014. It was incredible to learn how various wines compliment chocolate and to experience the beautiful synergy of selected wines and chocolate.

Pinotage – Sweet Smaak- Western Cape 2011 South Africa & Bin 27 Port / Golden Espresso
