Sommelier Lea Williams talks about Rosé..

Rosés grace us every year bringing fresh crispness, and beautiful colors ranging from ruby to salmon pink. Perfect on their own or paired with cheese, fruit and salads. These gems are meant to be consumed NOW! And when I say now, I mean stop what you’re doing, pick up a bottle, enjoy a glass and then consider returning to work. Here are a few of my faves.

Isabella Mondavi Deep Rosé: This rose is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is juicy and bright. It is balanced and has nice structure. A great rose to serve with food that you may think is to heavy for rosé. Definitely one that you will love… I know I do!

Another rose I love is Enanzo. This Granache rosé from the Navarra region of Spain is lush with flavors of strawberry, raspberry and watermelon. And it finishes with just a hint of spice. The deep color is just as beautiful as the taste of the wine it self.

If you prefer the delicate flavors and soft pink colors that come from Provence get your hands on  a bottle of  Jean- Luc Columbo’s Cape Bleue Rosé. Delicate, crisp and refreshing. This mouthwatering selection spins peaches and strawberries on your tongue. Enjoy it alone in the warm sun or with a cheese plate and a friend.
