AYZA Wine and Chocolate Bar owes an awful lot of thanks to our customers. For two years straight, we have won  Best of Citysearch in multiple categories beating thousands of New York City restaurants. Not counting the 2009 honors, AYZA, in 2010, was voted for being the best in Outdoor Dining, Lunch Spots, Romantic Restaurant, and Wine List.

Being honored for our continued excellence reveals a lot about AYZA. First, it shows that AYZA is more than one thing. It features fine wine from all over the world, gourmet chocolate, excellent cheeses, and special French-Italian dishes. But it’s also a place to come for lunch, to bring a date, to bask in the sun or to warm yourself under the gazebo (in the winter). The versatility of AYZA makes the AYZA experience multidimensional. So don’t only come for lunch.

AYZA does a lot of things splendidly. With that, another conclusion you can make is that we have very happy customers who are in no way uniform. We reflect the diversity of NYC, from the sexy to the romantic to the sophisticated.

Secondly, we listen. When customers see that something is isn’t up to par, we take the right steps to make AYZA even better. And although our customers seem to approve of how we are doing, we love the challenge of improving AYZA. So we will continue to excel and come next year we hope that our efforts bring about more recognition, but even more importantly, more lovers of AYZA.
